Projects and Visions

The projects I am most interested in getting involved in are as follows:

The Millennium Cathedral
I feel compelled to plant a cathedral using Sequoiadendron Giganteum (Giant Sequoia). These trees can live for over 2000 years !
The trees would be planted on level ground in a pattern specifically designed to create an outdoor secluded space that will accommodate large gatherings of people for weddings, family gathering and celebrations.

Teaching the art of live furniture shaping
I enjoy teaching this art form. I would like to work with a garden canter to present a workshop where people would shape there own chair. I envision having a group of people learn, hands on how to make there own garden chair. I would assemble all the bare root trees, containers, frames and soil and guide people in shaping there own chair that could then be planted in there own garden or given as a unique gift.

Arborsculpture Park
I would be stoked to design, plant and shape a public park that is filled with various arborsculpture. During the planting and shaping stage I will train the maintenance person (team) this person will perform the timely pruning and watch over the trees during their formative years.

Live housing
I am excited to have designed several living houses. These live house experiments can be carried out in a tropical or sub-tropical zones using ficus or banyan trees. The vision is to prove that sturdy inexpensive dwelling places could be grown and utilized.  This project I would incorporate collaboration with affiliated associate:
Mitchell Joachim, Ph.D. Massachusetts Institute of Technology
Team H.E.D. [Human Ecology Design]

Grown for harvest
I would love to partner with a cultivator to grow some fIeld grown arborsculptures. These will be designed for harvest. Imagine arborsculptures that are grown until they are the perfect size, then harvested, dried and polished to be exhibited in the finest art galleries.
